DAC Drop-In Workshops: Scheduling Quizzes, Exams, and Finals in myDAC

For students with alternative testing accommodations through the Disability Access Center (DAC), there are changes to DAC testing processes starting winter 2025!
Exams must be scheduled in advance:
- 3 business days* in advance for midterms and quizzes.
- 5 business days* in advance if using the following accommodations for midterms and quizzes: private testing room, reader, scribe, remote proctoring, or computer requiring specialized software.
- Final exams must be scheduled with the DAC no later than the last day to withdraw from a class.
- Utilize the Registrar’s Important Dates and Deadlines website for these specific dates each quarter:
- Winter 2025: Sunday, February 23 by 11:59 PM
- Spring 2025: Sunday, May 18 by 11:59 PM
- Utilize the Registrar’s Important Dates and Deadlines website for these specific dates each quarter:
- All final exams must be scheduled in accordance with the Registrar’s Final Exam schedule.
- *A business day is Monday - Friday and does not include weekends or holidays.
- While an instructor may allow flexibility to take the exam at any time on the same business day, you must take your exam for the time that was scheduled and approved in your myDAC portal.

To help support you with these changes, the DAC will be hosting drop-in workshops to help assist you with scheduling your quizzes, exams, and finals in myDAC. Drop in to one of our upcoming workshops in Wilson Library 170 during the following dates and times for assistance scheduling all your quizzes, exams, and finals:
- Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Monday, January 27, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

The Disability Access Center (DAC) is on the ground floor of Wilson Library. Wilson Library is an ADA accessible building. The easiest way to get to the DAC is through the external door west of the skybridge that connects Wilson Library and Haggard Hall. There is signage for the Disability Access Center, the Disability Outreach Center, and lecture hall WL 164. This building has accessible and all-gender restrooms around the corner from the DOC in WL 165A. Additional all-gender bathrooms are in WL 182 (ADA accessible), WL 668, and WL 669. Please refer to the Accessibility Campus Map for information about the nearest accessible doors, elevators, walkways, routes, and parking spots and refer to the reflection and meditation spaces for low-sensory spaces on campus.
Masks are strongly encouraged in the DAC. Masks are available at the entrance and upon request.
Please refrain from wearing scented products such as perfume, cologne, and fragrant personal care products while using our space, as they can trigger serious health issues for those with fragrance allergies and/or chemical sensitivities.
