La Bienvenida

La Plaza Latine Student Center will be hosting La Bienvenida, a new student and family welcome dinner that centers resources and connections to support Latine students. This event will provide new students with opportunities to connect with Latine staff, faculty, and students, while also learning about resources and opportunities available at WWU. There will be free food, live performances, and inspiring guest speakers. This event will be held in both English and Spanish.

We’ll provide messages of affirmation, introduce you to valuable resources and opportunities, and celebrate the contributions of Latine students to our community. This event is more than just a dinner; it's a chance to build connections, find your community, and ensure a smooth and exciting transition into your new academic home. Don’t miss this opportunity to start your journey with a sense of belonging and celebration!
