Racial inequality in psychology: A matter of science and ideology

Description
In this workshop, Dr. Steven Roberts will present data on some of the causes and consequences of racial inequality in psychological research, from diversity among editorial boards to writing practices. As a group, we will then think through additional sources (and solutions). Our learning objectives are to understand how racism affects the scientific process, the roles we play in those effects, and how we might work toward a more inclusive and diverse science. This workshop is free and open to students, staff, and faculty.
More information about Dr. Roberts' talks can be found on the Fraser Lecture Series page of the Foundation's website
A boxed lunch will be provided with different dietary options.
