Scholarship Resources
The WWU Scholarship Center provides information about many scholarships available through Western and from outside organizations.
Apply for 2025-2026 scholarships
Applications for academic year 2025-2026 scholarships will open in the first week of April until May 4th via the WWU Scholarship Application Portal
Applications will stay open for one month. Please see the WWU Scholarship Center for updated information, for Scholarship Portal FAQs, and to add yourself to a mailing list for updates and reminders.
The Centers Scholarship Information
The Centers for Student Access, Community, and Intercultural Engagement, of the Student Affairs division, administers and awards multiple scholarships. These scholarships, open to all, recognize students' leadership in supporting various historically marginalized communities.
Starting in April 2025 students will now apply for all WWU scholarships, including the Centers scholarships, using a single application via the WWU Scholarship Application Portal.
This single scholarship application process will automatically match you to scholarships that you meet the requirements for. The application will dynamically prompt additional questions, based on your answers, to ensure you're providing information necessary for all the scholarships you meet the criteria for. This new centralized scholarship application does not change the requirements of any of the scholarships that the Centers administers and the Centers scholarship committee will still review all applications.
