"We Will Not Cancel Us" -- Ending Cancel Culture in Our Communities and Movements

Have you ever felt afraid of saying or doing something because of getting "cancelled"? Do you feel like it's hard to get started in social justice and activism because you are still learning? Good news -- we're all still learning. This workshop is  based on facilitator and movement builder adrienne maree brown's book We Will Not Cancel Us. The session will explore ways that cancel culture is harmful to our communities and movements for social justice, and will help students explore ways to address harm without cutting people out of community. This session is especially recommended for student leaders of clubs and organizations and any student interested in work for social change.
